Rae Marcel presents The Black Santa Experience that offers the luxuries and nostalgic holiday interaction with black magic that every kid dreams of. It solidifies the anticipation and recognition of counting up the days to showcase the spirit of giving, kindness, service, sharing, and joy that the holiday brings. Not only does this gives a time stamp to a significant part of holiday celebrations but it allows our studio to document this black joy.

My story.

hi i’m rae. a midwest family photographer based in southern illinois while also serving saint louis families as well.

I started my photography journey after moving to illinois for my husband’s career change. once i became a stay at home, i longed for something to feed my creative spirit and photography was a long time passion of mines.

I’m sure i’m making my high school photography teacher proud lol

i’M THE MOTHER TO TWO AMAZING CHILDREN. WHEN I’M NOT WORKING I’M FINDING CREATIVE WAYS FOR MY CHILDREN TO FLOURISH IN THE WORLD, WHILE SHAPING TO BE THE BEST MOM IN THEIRS. AS AN ASD (AUSTIM SPECTRUM DISORDER) BONUS MOM, I HAVE A HEART FOR FAMILIES WHO ARE UNIQUE. WE LOVE EXTRA OVER HERE AND THAT COMES IN MANY FORMS.

  • Sessions take place at our studio downtown.

    Saint Louis /EDWARDSVILLE AREA

    301 NORTH MAIN STREET, EDWARDSVILLE, IL 62025

    Indianapolis Location for November 19th is 1125 E Brookside Ave, Suite D4

    Location cannot be changed due to the nature of session and set up.

  • Pricing is broken up to list per child.

    VIP package is up to 5 children

  • Studio sessions are back to back so please makes sure to not be late because reschedules will be nonexistent. Please be aware of your session time.

    Session fee will be nonrefundable if you need to cancel or reschedule.

    Prepaid packages can be used as a credit for other sessions.

  • After you pay the session fee, after your session is over, you will be sent a gallery proof link where you can choose proofs. Clients is responsible to choose proof within 72 hours of receiving. Edits will not be started until selections are submitted in the proper folder.

    You are more than welcome to choose extra digitals that could be purchased $30 per image

  • Clients are responsible to bring their own attire/costume for holiday portraits unless discussed with RAE prior to session.

  • You get one image per child for solo package or 3 digitals included in VIP package. Additional edits can be purchased at $30 image.
